However, I'm a rather eclectic person and thus have many other interests. I am an amateur charcoal/dry pastel/pencil artist and have had a few of my pieces exhibited and one made the cover of a small publication out of DePauw University. In terms of sports I am into non-competitive extremery including backpacking, long-distance tour biking, swimming, water skiing, knee boarding, wake boarding, snowboarding and maybe some day mountain climbing. Finally I have little flashpot interests that I make frivolous investment in from time to time. Professionally I am a Phd track graduate student at University of Colorado at Boulder under the Computer Science and Engineering Department. I am lucky in that this was my top choice and that the local industry seems to be in-tune with my research interests.
